The breakfast meal was generous and delicious with the latter being all cooked to order and hot dishes, as for instance. Its location was quiet, by the river, and in a perfect area.

The location of the hotel was marvelous, being close to Dartmoor and the North Cornish coast, with plenty of activities for accompanying persons. The staff were faultless and impeccable.

Village/riverside setting and very pleasant decor within hotel. Very comfortable bed in tiny room following change from self-catering cottage adjacent to late night disco.
Being allocated self catering cottage instead of double room booked.

No dislikes but would have liked to see some of the excellent local real ales available and perhaps a trouser press in the room....look forward to the next visit

The staff was extremely helpful and amazingly attentive - I would definitely go again. The venue was nicely appointed and wonderfully relaxing. The location was stunning, near both the pub and the restaurant. Exceptional service, even though a few employees were quite busy.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Stayed in room 17, didnt like the stained headboard! Also it seemed rather odd to have to put the kettle down on the carpet in order to connect to the plug.

The food was GORGEOUS with a wide range of alternatives. The setting was particularly good, not far from the Arundell Arms, the restaurant and guest lounge and various beaches that Lenny could go on.
For us it was ideal.
